A Jonah Moment

I've just coined the phrase, "Jonah Moment."  A Jonah moment is when you know you are trying to run from God, but he won't let you.  Call it discipline, call it pursuing you, call it whatever, God loves us more than just letting us run away without his pursuing us.  Hebrews 12:6, "For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives."  It is not exactly a pleasurable thing to be disciplined, but boy am I so grateful for it!!!  Otherwise, I'd be so lost!  I don't know about you, but I didn't exactly thank my parents in the middle of my being disciplined.  It was more of a feeling of terror and pain.  But...I thank them now.

Thank you God for loving me through your discipline!  Even when I can't see the results right away.

Incredible! Absolutely incredible!

Ashley just returned from a coupon trip to Rite Aid and CVS.  She came home with a load of awesome brand name Old Spice body wash, Old Spice deodorant, diapers, and such.  Her total bill should have been about $75 (she got a lot of stuff).  After all the coupons and rebates, she will have only paid $0.21!  Twenty-one cents!  Absolutely incredible!  And that includes taxes!

Needless to say it was well worth the effort!  We will use and give away every bit of this stuff.  None will go to waste!

Tennessee was a blast!

We had a great time in TN, and captured some great shots of our time there.  Here are some of our favorites.  I'm sorry to leave out so many details but these past couple of weeks have been so extremely busy for us.  More to come for sure.
