Baby Update

8:15 am: No baby yet. BUT it will not be long now. Ashley is having contractions that are becoming close together (about 8 mins apart). It was getting so consistent last night that we went in to have her checked out, but there had not been enough progress to declare her in active labor yet. I'm learning a lot through this pregnancy (including patience!). An expectant mother can have serious contractions very close together and still not be in labor. Isn't that strange? Well, poor Ashley is trying so hard not to worry about when it will happen. Her biggest concern (as well as mine) is being able to tell when it is the real thing. That we have simply left up to the Lord. We will know when it is time. Meanwhile, we are leaning heavily upon Him for patience.
